Holiday nostalgia

We visited some of Mike’s friends who lived in Turkey almost a decade ago, and took a couple of weeks to see some beautiful towns and cities along the west coast. Travelling before the kids were born feels like a world away!

Sadly, with time, I’ve forgotten many of the names of the towns we saw, but a few still stand out. We went as far south as Antakya, where I remember there were the beautiful ruins of Antioch (an ancient Roman town) which still survive outside of the modern city. Really worthwhile remembering the incredible history that area of the world is founded on. Although meaning to go to Greece, we sadly didn’t have enough time. But I’m looking forward to a trip there in the (hopefully near!) future.
